Sculptor insignis, apud Plinium l. 36. c. 5. ubi nobilitates operum et artificum in marmore CCXVI. recenset, Cum ii essent, (Dipoenus et Scyllis, qui marmore scalpendô primi omnium inclaruisse dicuntur cap. praec.) iam fuerant in Chio insulla Malas sculptor, dei n filius eius Micciades, ac deinde nepos Anthermus Chius, cuius filii Bupalus et Anthermus clarissimi in ea soientia fuêre.
